The Golden Pass Express operates between Interlaken and Montreux and is renowned for its extra-large panoramic windows in every class, offering uninterrupted views of Switzerland’s landscapes.

The new Golden Pass Express features three travel classes: 2nd Class, 1st Class, and the exclusive Prestige Class. Prestige Class stands out with its spacious, adjustable seats, which can be heated and rotated by onboard staff to always face the direction of travel.

Thanks to the elevated seating position and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, Prestige Class delivers an unforgettable travel experience. Please note that a valid train ticket is required in addition to the seat reservation.

Practical Information

• We recommend reserving your Prestige Class seat before purchasing your train ticket

• The Swiss Travel Pass, GA Pass, and all SBB day tickets (including the Saver Day Pass) are valid on this route

  • With these passes, you only need to reserve a Prestige Class seat

• No Wi-Fi or power outlets are available onboard

• A bar/wagon service operates on the Montreux–Zweisimmen route, offering drinks and snacks
