Jungfraujoch Package from/to Grindelwald or Wengen

Jungfraujoch, known as the Top of Europe, is reached by train to the highest railway station in Europe

A mountain of superlatives: the Jungfraujoch is home to Europe’s highest railway station at 3,454 m (11,332 ft) a.s.l. and forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. Even the ascent—whether by the state-of-the-art “Eiger Express” 3S cableway or the traditional cog railway—is an unforgettable experience.

From the Eigergletscher station, a 7-kilometre tunnel—constructed between 1896 and 1912—leads up to the Jungfraujoch. Along the way, a stop inside the tunnel offers unique views of the glacier landscape through windows set in the famous Eiger North Face.

At the summit, visitors enter a high-Alpine world of snow, ice, and rock. Panoramas can be admired from the “Sphinx” and “Plateau” viewing platforms overlooking the Aletsch Glacier, or explored within the enchanting “Ice Palace.”

Thanks to the new Eiger Express, the journey from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch now takes just 1.5 hours. From the Grindelwald Terminal, the 3S cableway carries guests directly to Eigergletscher station in only 15 minutes—leaving more time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and attractions at the “Top of Europe.”
